Mark Redwood is a Program Leader for Climate Change and Water with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC/CRDI). Redwood is an urban and environmental planner who specializes in water, sanitation, and urban agriculture. Wastewater as a resource is a particular focus of Redwood’s – he develops and manages numerous projects involving its reuse for agriculture. He has published and edited articles and books on urban environmental issues, urban agriculture, and greywater systems – wastewater from showers, laundry, and the like. Redwood also manages projects on water and sanitation in marginalized urban areas. Redwood has a master’s degree from McGill University’s urban planning program.
